Update April 20, 2024 (Build 12 in review)

The first version to be published in the Play Store has been under review at Google since today in order to be able to carry out the closed test afterwards. This is a prerequisite for the release in the Play Store. Many thanks to all testers up to this point 👍😃

Update April 14, 2024 (Build 11 in the Play Store)

The PDF export works!!! (The configuration of the font, whether only manual entries, which text length is still displayed next to the entry, will follow in the next update)

Update April 11, 2024 (Build 10 in the Play Store)

New in this build:

Update April 2, 2024 (Build 9 in the Play Store)

Newly finished: Edit resources (water tank, fuel tanks, batteries, etc.) and create POIs and maintenance records (with and without due date).

Update March 29, 2024 (Build 8 in the Play Store)

Export is now also possible as KML and CSV in addition to GPX. In addition, the quick maneuvers are now fully implemented. You can create your own and also adjust the order in the settings. Here again a status of the entire table:

I've tidied things up a bit, so the instructions should now be largely correct for all new users and also apply to Android (even if the screenshots are from iOS). Also new:

Update March 27, 2024 (Build 6 in the Play Store)

This step took a little longer, but the logbook sync now works across multiple devices (also from and to iOS devices).

Update February 11, 2024

Everything is now becoming more concrete, and I can already show you the first screenshots here:

I also thought about the support of the testers. I think it makes sense to involve volunteer testers as early as possible. And in my opinion, that point has now come! So that you can decide for yourself whether the current status is suitable for you as a tester, here is a small overview (compared to the existing iOS version) of what already works on Android and what doesn't yet. So if you are interested today get in touch with me. My developer account at Google is currently under review, so I think I will soon be able to publish the first tests to a closed group of participants!

Status from July 2023

Yes, the time has come, it will come, but unfortunately it will take some time!

Planning

I am planning a first version for 2024! It is also possible that the first version will not offer the full range of functions, but will be available 😉.

I want to be informed when the Android version is available

If you want to stay up to date and be informed about the launch of the Android version, please send me a message, and let me know if you want to be active on the final release or already as a Beta Tetster?

Background

The iOS version of the logbook app has already delighted many sailors, and I have received countless positive feedback from users who appreciate the wide range of functions. Recently, there have also been more and more requests for an Android version. Now I would like to give all Android users the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of the logbook app!

Thank you already

Thank you all for your continued support and I look forward to hopefully presenting the Android version of our logbook app very soon. Keep the sails set, or the tank full (for the motorboaters😉) and be ready for a better sailing experience on Android too!
