Part of my track is shown dashed on the map — why?

For performance reasons the whole track isn’t shown in detail by default, as loading it could otherwise take a long time. In the map settings (the little spanner at the top right of the map) you can configure the following:

• How many entries are shown in detail (i.e. coloured according to speed). Only the detailed part can be tapped, for example to move or open an entry.
• You can also set an offset: out of 500 entries you might want 250 shown in detail, starting at entry 200 (so 200 to 450). The rest (1–199 before and 451–500 after) is only shown dashed.
• You can also tap the date to show a single day in detail.
• The coloured lines can be based on speed or on status. For speed, you choose from which speed each colour applies (when the line turns red and how long it stays green).
