My policy is, I generally want to collect as little data as possible from my users. Certainly no personal data.
Data without personal reference
The logbook app transmits data over the internet to my web server during the following actions:
Requesting the weather (if requested by the user)
Geocoding (if requested by the user)
Recording of positions for sharing over the Internet (if requested by the user)
For me, in each case, the IP address and location is visible on the web server.
However, I only store the position without IP address, so completely anonymous.
Once to be able to offer the optional feature Livetracking and to evaluate in which regions I need to further expand geocoding.
So I have no personal reference for these two actions that will be stored.
Independently of this, the position data will not be passed on to third parties by me, in the case of livetracking, the creator himself decides to whom he passes on the link to the data.
Data with possible personal reference
The logbook app transmits data over the internet to my web server during the following actions:
in App Support (if initiated by the user)
Here is stored by with device type, iOS version, app version and the transmitted request to be able to give on it also the appropriate support.
I never give this data to third parties, but I also have no personal reference, as long as with the user does not voluntarily give his name.
What for support also not necessary.
Logbook Sync Service
Optionally, you can synchronize your logbook across multiple devices in the app. Hereby the whole logbook including possible pictures is stored in logbook entries on my weserver.
I never give this data to third parties! The data have only in this case a reference to an email address which one must indicate for the registration.
This email address does not have to be your real email address. But keep in mind that if you want support for data that are on my server,
I will give it only to this email address. I also store here no personal reference.
